Kuwait base missile strike
Bloomberg, as cited by Mehr News Agency, said an Iranian ballistic missile attack on an air base at dawn on Thursday wounded about five Americans, including contractors and active-duty military personnel, and caused severe damage to two MQ-9 Reaper attack drones.

Mehr reported that Kuwait's air defenses succeeded in intercepting the Fateh-110 missile, but debris from the intercept struck Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The same Mehr account said one Reaper drone was completely destroyed and at least one more was severely damaged, with the value of each drone estimated at about $30 million.
In Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement that, in response to the U.S. attack and violation of the ceasefire, it targeted an air base of this country and that the base of the aggressor American forces was targeted at 4:50.
Injuries disputed, drones hit
DW reported that in the latest developments, Iran has targeted Kuwait and the U.S. has conducted attacks near the Strait of Hormuz, while it also described a war between the United States and Israel against Iran that began on Saturday, 9 Esfand 1404.
In parallel, Mehr News Agency said Bloomberg cited an informed source directly involved in the strike and described the wounded Americans as about five people, while also saying one Reaper drone was completely destroyed and at least one more was severely damaged.
The Times of India reported that wounded soldiers and their families accused the army of minimising the severity of what happened after an Iran-linked drone strike, and it quoted Chief warrant officer Rodney Bearman’s wife, Amy Bearman, saying, "That assessment is unacceptable."
The Times of India also quoted an Army spokesperson saying, "Any assertion that the Army seeks to downplay a soldier’s injuries is simply not true."
Ceasefire talks and wider toll
DW said that Tehran and Washington agreed on a two-week ceasefire forty days after the war began on Saturday, 9 Esfand 1404, and that in the waning hours of the ceasefire Donald Trump announced that, at the request of a number of Pakistani officials, the possible resumption of attacks would be temporarily halted and the ceasefire extended.

DW further reported that negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, ended without result, and that tensions had escalated over control of the Strait of Hormuz.
The یورونیوز account said the attack on Kuwait occurred while efforts to extend the fragile ceasefire between Iran and the United States continued, and it added that the U.S. Department of Defense report on operations dubbed 'Epic Fury' recorded 14 American service members killed and 409 wounded.
It also stated that CSIS said that since the start of the war on February 28 (9 Esfand 1404), Iran has fired more than 1,850 ballistic missiles at targets across the region, while the IRGC described its response as a 'serious warning' and said that if U.S. attacks recur, Iran's response will be 'more decisive.'
