Attacks and hospital toll

Israeli occupation fire killed Palestinian Muhammad Anan Al-Ruwa’ in the al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City after a drone-fired Israeli missile targeted a gathering of Palestinians near the Palestine Stadium, and the Shifa Medical Center said the attack also injured 3 others, one seriously. The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said hospitals received 10 martyrs and 62 injured as a result of Israeli aggression over the past 48 hours, and it said the martyrs were distributed among 8 new martyrs, one martyr succumbing to wounds, and one rescue case. The ministry said its daily statistical report recorded an increase in the cumulative toll since the beginning of the genocide in the Gaza Strip in October 2023 to 74,540 martyrs and 175,678 injured.

The ministry added that 42 martyrs were added to the total statistics after completing and approving their data by the Committee for the Recognition of Martyrs, since the last update on October 17, 2026. The ministry also documented 1,547 Palestinians martyred and 5,559 others injured since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025 until today, along with the retrieval of 842 martyrs’ bodies from under the rubble.

Ceasefire breaches and Gaza

Israel continued to breach the ceasefire agreement announced since October 10, 2025, and the Al-Jazirah Net said that up to Wednesday it resulted in the martyrdom of 1,538 Palestinians and injuries to 5,498 others. The Al-Jazirah Net said that since October 2023, during the genocidal war in Gaza, Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured more than 175,000, while the war has left widespread destruction affecting about 90% of civilian infrastructure in the enclave. An Anadolu Ajansı report said Israeli bombardment on a group of Palestinians walking near Roni Street in the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip left 10 Palestinians injured, including 3 with serious injuries.

An Anadolu Ajansı report said the Israeli army expanded its control areas east of the village al-Masdar in the central Gaza Strip by removing cement blocks that indicate the “Yellow Line” toward areas outside its control. An Anadolu Ajansı report said the Israeli ceasefire violations up to Thursday left 1,538 Palestinians killed and 5,498 others injured, according to the latest data from the health ministry in the strip.

Children, displacement, and stakes

UNICEF denounced deliberate attacks by Israel against children in the Gaza Strip, and it said the number of children killed rose to 351 boys, girls and adolescents since the proclamation of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025. UNICEF said Edouard Beigbeder ratified the figure after certifying that “in the last 6 days there were 8 additional deaths and 20 children wounded” due to the persistence of military actions on the territory. UNICEF warned that “A ceasefire that leaves an average of one child dead per day is failing children,” and it said the spokesman added that “this level of violence against children is unacceptable.”

UNICEF technical assessments said approximately 800,000 minors remain in a situation of forced displacement, while it estimated that another 60,000 have lost one or both parents during the war or after the declaration of the ceasefire. UNICEF said the humanitarian crisis was aggravated by “acute malnutrition, epidemic outbreaks, lack of potable water, and deterioration of sanitation systems,” and it demanded guaranteeing “the large-scale entry of humanitarian aid convoys, medical supplies, and rescue equipment.”
