Raids hit multiple towns
Israel intensified its raids on Lebanon on Friday evening, killing at least three people and wounding 23 others, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health.

The ministry said Israeli strikes hit five towns in the Sidon (Saida) and Nabatieh regions in the south, in addition to an airstrike on the Beqaa Plain in the eastern part of the country.

Lebanon’s official National News Agency said two young men died “in an attack by an Israeli drone targeting them while they were riding a motorcycle” in Nabatieh, and the Health Ministry confirmed this toll.
In the village of Al-Ramadiya in the Tyre district, an Israeli airstrike killed one person and injured 15 others, including six rescuers, three women, and a child, according to the ministry.
UNIFIL counts projectiles
UNIFIL said it recorded an average of 137 projectiles fired per day between August 5-16, as it described a significant increase in Israeli military activity over the past fortnight or so.
The UN peacekeepers reported 208 projectiles on Saturday and 185 on Sunday, while tensions continued to increase despite the renewal of the June 26 ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
UNIFIL said, “As tensions rise, civilians are once again paying the highest price, with many families displaced or forced to change their daily routines because of insecurity and uncertainty,” and it said its peacekeepers maintained their presence through patrols and monitoring.
Al Jazeera also reported that the death toll since March 2 from repeated Israeli assaults on southern Lebanon rose to 4,346 after 11 people were killed on Saturday in two separate Israeli air raids.A
