Jones adds to IBIT
Paul Tudor Jones’ Tudor Investment Corp increased its stake in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) to 688,529 shares valued at $22.9 million as of June 30, according to a 13F filing.
“up from 579,083 shares held in the prior quarter”
Crypto Briefing says the position rose from 579,083 shares in the prior quarter, describing it as “up from 579,083 shares held in the prior quarter.”

DiarioBitcoin reports the stake increase as 18.9% versus the previous quarter and says the position is valued at USD $22,9 millones.
The same DiarioBitcoin account ties the move to Jones’ use of the spot Bitcoin ETF as exposure, stating that “incrementó su participación en el ETF de Bitcoin de BlackRock a USD $22,9 millones.”
Calls cut, puts steady
Alongside the share increase, Tudor Investment reported a reduction in call exposure, with KuCoin saying its direct IBIT shares rose by 109,446 to 688,529 while its call-equivalent quantity fell 85.2%.
KuCoin also reports the June 30 filing valued the direct shares at $22.9 million and lists the call line at $4.93 million and the put line at $23.8 million.

Criptotendencias frames the change as a shift toward the underlying ETF, saying Tudor “recortó sus posiciones en opciones de compra (calls), según el reporte trimestral.”
Crypto News similarly reports that Tudor cut its call options by 85.2% to 148,000 underlying shares while its put position slipped 1.4% to 715,000 underlying shares, and notes that the filing does not disclose strike prices or option expirations.
What comes next
Crypto Briefing says the next 13F cycle will cover positions as of September 30, with filings due in mid-November, to show whether Tudor held, added, or trimmed as Bitcoin’s price evolved through Q3.
“filings due in mid-November”
DiarioBitcoin adds that Tudor Investment Corp manages approximately 106 mil millones de dólares in assets, while the IBIT position remains a small portion of the total portfolio even after the increase.
Crypto Briefing also points to IBIT’s scale, stating that as of mid-August the fund held approximately 747,361 BTC, and that institutional inflows translate into real on-chain accumulation.
Together, the filings and the option mix leave a clear monitoring target: whether Tudor’s 18.9% share increase to 688,529 is sustained into the next quarter-end snapshot, and whether call exposure continues to fall relative to puts.
