Israel bombs Iranian sites with 'inaccurate' ammunition that has been stored for half a century.

The broadcaster added that after inspecting the bombs and confirming their integrity, the army began using these 'inaccurate' munitions in air strikes on military sites in Iran, focusing on areas away from populated centers to reduce danger.

Israeli army officials explained that the decision to use these old bombs aims to save money and to exploit the storage where the bombs were kept in relatively good condition.

In this context, the army spokesperson said that the Air Force 'operates with diverse methods and with different weapons against targets of the Iranian regime,' adding that 'the choice of ammunition type to be used is an operational decision based on many factors, and the Air Force only deploys the ammunition after a structured process to inspect its fitness and ensure the efficiency and safety of ground and air crews.'

Since February 28 of last month, Israel and the United States have been conducting attacks on Iran, which have killed hundreds of people including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, while Tehran responds by firing missiles and drones toward Israel.
