TradingView reported that Securitize shares sank in premarket trading on Thursday after the tokenization platform missed Wall Street revenue estimates, and said the company reported $14.4 million in total revenue in its second-quarter earnings.

TradingView also tied the market reaction to the gap between reported results and the Wall Street consensus estimate of $20.6 million, and noted that Securitize shares traded at $6.62 in premarket trading as of 8:10 am UTC.

CoinDesk said Securitize stock fell 20% after-hours on Wednesday after the tokenization company reported a $2.37 per share loss versus a $0.15 loss expected by analysts.

Activity rises, revenue lags

Despite the revenue miss, DiarioBitcoin said average tokenized assets under administration reached a record of USD $4.300 millones and that the volume of transactions increased 147%.

TradingView similarly reported a record average tokenized AUM of $4.3 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 16% from the second quarter of last year, while also saying quarterly revenue from tokenization fell to $7.8 million from $8.9 million in the second quarter of 2025.

TradingView reported that Securitize posted a net loss of $21.7 million for the quarter and that adjusted EBITDA swung to a $5.5 million loss from a $1.8 million profit.

CoinDesk added that platform activity rose even as revenues declined, saying tokenized assets under management reached a record $4.3 billion, up 16%, and that trading volume jumped 147% to $5.3 billion.

CoinDesk also said the fund services arm supervised 663 active funds and $24.3 billion in assets under administration, placing the company at the center of Wall Street’s push to tokenize financial securities on the blockchain.

What investors watch next

The results put investors’ focus on whether Securitize can convert growing tokenization activity into revenue and profitability, with DiarioBitcoin framing the question as how quickly the company can turn platform growth into higher revenues and eventually into profitability.

CryptoRank said the Q2 results highlight challenges monetizing tokenization and RWA platforms in crypto despite institutional interest, raising risks for fundraising and adoption and increasing scrutiny on revenue models and cost discipline.

CoinDesk described Securitize as “best known for issuing and managing BlackRock's tokenized money market fund BUIDL,” and said the company’s rising interest from Wall Street had not yet translated into sustained revenue growth.

TokenPost said CEO Carlos Domingo described the second quarter as “softer,” while highlighting first-half revenue up 16% year-over-year helped by record quarterly revenue of $19.5 million in Q1.

DiarioBitcoin added that the report was Securitize’s first quarterly report since it completed in July its merger with a Cantor-backed SPAC, and said the company’s activity continued growing even as the financials disappointed.
