Ali al-Taher tunnels destroyed
Israel said it demolished Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure on the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, with a 4.1 magnitude tremor recorded in the area after a “massive explosion” reported in the Nabatieh region.

ABNA said Brigadier General Hassan Jouni argued that simultaneous operations in multiple areas indicate Israel is seeking to “completely change the field equation in southern Lebanon,” including expansion north of the Litani River to Arabsalim and Kfar Reman.
The IDF said it used “over 1100 tons of explosives” to destroy tunnels beneath the ridge, and it described the complex as a central command post for Hezbollah’s Badr Unit.
The Jerusalem Post reported that Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said the tunnels constituted a strategic terrorist network built over the course of “two decades” with Iranian funding and planning.
Al-Manar reported an Israeli demolition operation in Al-Mansouri town in southern Lebanon, as its correspondent relayed the development from the area.
Yellow line to gray line
Türkiye Today reported that Israel plans tunnel demolitions and a phased Lebanon pullback, including withdrawing troops from the “yellow line” to a “gray line” about 2 to 4 kilometers from the border.T
KAN, as cited by Türkiye Today, said the two underground routes are located beneath the Ali al-Taher Heights and are expected to be blown up in the coming days, with unnamed military officials claiming no “living armed operatives” remained at the site.T
Türkiye Today also said Israel plans to establish around 20 permanent military positions along the new line and that displaced residents would not, for now, be allowed to return to areas it may vacate.T
ABNA said Israeli media reported on the possibility of reducing forces in the “yellow zone” to the “gray line” at a distance of 2 to 4 kilometers from the border.
The report said any Israeli withdrawal must be accompanied by coordination with the Lebanese government and the guarantee of the Lebanese army’s deployment in evacuated areas, otherwise ABNA warned the areas would become security vacuums that threaten stability.

ABNA said Israel’s war against Lebanon since early March has resulted in the martyrdom of 4,532 people, the wounding of 12,318 others, and the displacement of over one million people.

The Times of Israel said the next round of US-brokered talks between Israel and Lebanon will be held in Rome next week, with the talks expected to extend for two days.
Türkiye Today added that the issue of displaced residents’ return is expected to be discussed during direct Israeli-Lebanese talks scheduled to resume this month in Rome.T
