Soldiers Hurt in South
Israeli media said five Israeli soldiers sustained injuries of varying severity in an operational incident in South Lebanon overnight. Israeli occupation artillery targeted Wadi al-Salouqi and Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
Lebanese media reports said the Israeli occupation army conducted an air strike on the Wadi al-Hijir area in southern Lebanon a few hours earlier. Hebrew media reported that 5 Israeli soldiers were injured due to an operational incident in southern Lebanon.

Shelling and Machine-Gun Fire
Al-Bayan said Israeli artillery shelled towns of Bayt Yāḥūn, al-Manṣūrī, Wādī Zuqayni and Wādī as-Ṣalūqī in southern Lebanon at dawn. Israeli forces opened fire with their machine guns toward the town Hadatha and the outskirts of BerAshit in southern Lebanon.
Israeli artillery targeted Bayt Yahoun and al-Mansouri, as well as Wadi Zabqin and Wadi al-Salouqi, in the early hours of Friday, October 2. No reports of deaths or injuries from the shelling were received.

Israel Tallies Targets, Lebanon Pushes State Authority
The Israeli army claimed it struck more than 370 targets attributed to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon over the past month.
The Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said, "The war was imposed on us, and has pushed Lebanon backward," and he confirmed that commitment to residents of the south would not change.
